Saint Vincent de Paul Society

This is an international Catholic Society dedicated to care for the poor and needy.  Our parish council consists of dedicated parishioners who meet once a month for prayer, reflection and planning.  Their regular activity is to respond to calls for need.  In pairs they deliver food and gift certificates.

Our parish council also organizes a number of special programs during the year:

  • Back-to-School Backpack Program
  • Christmas Angel Tree Program
  • Co-op Summer Barbecue Program along with Incarnation Anglican Church
  • Twice a Year Clothing Drive

Our parish council is twinned with two St. Vincent de Paul councils. In Dominican Republic and Guatemala. We provide them with regular financial support.

New members of our parish council are always welcome. Please contact the parish office for information.

All parishioners support the effort of our parish council through the twice a year St. Vincent de Paul collection, donating food items at the church, and supporting the various programs.

Food Donations: Received at the church the first weekend of each month. Also, at any time during office hours. Though all food items are welcomed, below is a list of suggested items that are most helpful:

  • Canned salmon
  • Canned Juice
  • Powdered milk
  • Canned stews and soups
  • Cereal
  • Mac and Cheese
  • Peanut Butter
  • Canned fruit and vegetables
